Community Resilience Cluster Session at The Courtroom, Stamford Town Hall on the 9th June

This cluster engagement session is for the whole community.  Focusing on Community Resilience and the establishment of a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). The goal is to ensure the community is well-prepared for any emergency eventuality, including the significant threat of flooding.

The details for the cluster session are as follows: 

  • Stamford Town Hall, PE9 2DR
  • Tuesday, 9th June
  • 14:00 – 17:00 (Please note this is a drop-in session, so you are welcome to come at the time most convenient for you).

This session will provide a comprehensive overview of:

  • There will be various presentations taking place throughout the event where you can find out, what Community Resilience is. An introduction to the concept and how local residents can become actively involved and what your role as a community group would be during an incident.
  • Community Emergency Plans: interactive session to give guidance on the steps required to write an effective, localised community emergency plan.
  • Attendees will gain direct access to partner agencies such as the Environment Agency, Lincolnshire County Council, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue. You can pop along to the stalls and talk to each agency and get personalised advice and information.
