Successful Activation of Wainfleet’s Community Emergency Response Team 🚨
Friday 26th September, Wainfleet’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) activated its community response procedures to support the ongoing police investigation, following the establishment of a 60-metre cordon by Lincolnshire Police.
We are incredibly proud to see the Wainfleet CERT stand up so seamlessly and efficiently in support of a multi-agency response. Thanks to their dedication to planning and preparing for all emergencies, the team was able to rapidly activate and open Coronation Hall to provide a safe location for residents being evacuated.
This successful, swift response is a testament to the essential work and time the CERT members dedicate. Their readiness ensures our communities can be supported quickly when they need it most.
