East coast agencies respond to North Sea incident
East Lindsey District Council’s waste teams are in the process of cleaning up plastic pellets (nurdles) and any other debris that has been found following the incident in the North Sea last week.
Ministers Visit the County Emergency Centre
Minister Abena Oppong-Asare and Minister Alex Norris visited the County Emergency Centre in Lincoln and met with Community Emergency Planning groups from Branston, Horncastle, Anderby, Morton and Mablethorpe & Sutton who have been involved with previous incidents and heard about their experiences of working with the Local Resilience Forum.

In recent days, members of the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum (LRF) have been working in and with communities in response to flooding across parts of the county. As water levels start to return to normal the focus has shifted from dealing with the impact as a major incident to looking at how the LRF can provide recovery and support for those who were affected.
