Want to help build a more resilient community? Focusing on Community Resilience and the establishment of a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). The goal is to ensure the community is well-prepared for any emergency eventuality, including the significant threat of flooding.

You will be able to find out exactly what community resilience is, how your community can become more resilient, what your role as a community group would be during an incident, as well as guidance to starting up a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in your area and creating a community emergency plan (CEP).

A scheduled test of the Ready for Anything emergency notification system will take place on Wednesday January 28th, 2026. Please Note: This is a system test to ensure our equipment is functioning correctly and our volunteer database is up to date. There will be no request to deploy.
Ready For Anything is an innovative scheme, for individuals who want to volunteer to support our emergency responders and communities during and after crisis.
Anyone can volunteer for the scheme as long as you live in Lincolnshire, are relatively fit and well and able to get around the county. If this sounds like you then we would like to welcome you to our emergency volunteer family.
